They totally do, and in fact, they actually usually have a lot to say.

Can you get them to shut up? I have to tell Nate to shut up all the time. It doesn't help much. Except it's fun to say. "Shut up, Nate!"

I try, but I've noticed that they really do like to talk an awful lot. Also, they tend to be rather pissy about the whole being dead thing.

Maybe it's cause there's not many who can hear them, you know?

There should probably be, um. Like a group thing. Dead Anonymous or something. I can't think of a catchy name. But that sort of thing. And then they could all talk to each other.

How about...Still Talking but Dead, and it could be STD for short, cause they don't really need the B in there anyway. It just kind of clutters things up.

*interrupted by a nudge from Shan* (which because it's Shan sends Korda all the way across the room)

I can manipulate and create fire... *the dragon sniffs her* Are you a dragon under there?

*Is glad his sniffing didn't muss her perfectly coiffed hair* Sorry, not a dragon. My daddy was a demon though, so I must have got the fire thing from him. Probably the only decent thing he ever did for me.

A demon daddy! *tilts head so far over he falls down on his side* You must have been very clever to have escaped! *peers over at Korda who is knocked out cold* Oh, he's okay. *says with little concern* Now tell me more about your fire making. *rest chin on claw and looks with great fascination and interest at her*

It was a horrible experience, but I managed to make it through.

*figuring that Shan must know what he's talking about in regards to Korda, she lets man be*

It's kind of just an innate thing, you know? I just think about it, *she holds up her fingers and little flames come off the tips like on a lighter* and there it is!

Astonished, he just stares at her finger for a minute and then shifts into an upright position. Unsure if it is a good thing or bad thing, he still can't deny it is wondrous! "Oh, that is very, very impressive!" He nods slowly. "Do you know how special that power is? I mean… uhm… there are so very few who can control fire!" He hops a little due to his nervous excitement. "Do you have a mate?" he asks curiously.

She shakes her head slightly. "Not at the moment, no. It's been a while since I actually had a mate."

"How can that be?" he says with shock and excitement. Stunned but also happy, he tries to hide this as best he can. "I mean... that is too bad," his tone softens and a claw nervously shifts on the floor. "Do you think it is the fire that makes it hard to find one?"

She smiles, shrugging slightly, her eyes practically glowing with warmth. "Oh you know, it's the whole thing where people seem to be afraid of the things they don't understand. I mean, the only guys that tend to stick around are the ones that have secrets and special gifts of their own, and sometimes even that isn't enough."

If dragons could blush he would have. She was pretty and smelled very good. And her eyes reminded him of a female dragon he was had a crush on. He leaned very close to her and his warm breath gently caressed her, without messing up her hair. Now this was a special gift, he thought. "I am good at a lot of things, some are special, and some are not. Does that make me not enough or enough?"

Wow, that was a truly impressive feat, she thought. Not messing up her hair definitely gives him brownie points. "Well, I'd say that you are most definitely enough, from what I've seen."

*puffs up with pride then saunters, as dragons do, so she can see him strut his stuff* "You are very kind to say that." *returns to her side and carefully sits not to disturb any part of her* "You are not only a... " *is distracted by her shiny hair and bling so has to think hard for the words* "beauty…ous lady… uhm… magical thin… being, but you are kind and caring as well. Any one should think it lucky to even know you." *nods but isn't sure that came out right and looks sheepishly towards Korda for help but he is only just stirring*

"Kat-tan-I-yay, would you mind if I ask you a question?" says softly with a nervous twitch of his tail.

He is just so adorable, especially in his nervousness, which is rather obvious to her. Especially as she has had some experience with them before. "Of course I don't mind. Please do."

Korda starts to sit up but is still dazed. He looks around and sees them. He's about to say something when Shan peers at him from out of the corner of his eye.

Shan is nervous and wants this to come out JUST right. He looks at her and gets cold feet. "I… I… Could you please wait for one second?" He waddles over to Korda and whispers," I need help Audé. How do I ask her to…" He Helps Korda to his feet and then continues. "She's very pretty and I thought maybe… " His tone is unworthy. "She would like to go with me on a … " Hesitates. "Date."

Korda peers at him then K'tanya and if his head were not so clouded with pain he'd laugh or be very angry with Shan for knocking him out. But he's still stunned and his gentlemanly etiquette instinctively takes over. "It is always proper to have someone speak for you if you are not up to the intricacies," he said while rubbing his neck.

Shan thought. "Like a matchmaker?"

"Yes, like that." He rubbed his temples and his eyes.

"Please Audé, help me out here. Pleeeeaseeee." Hes expression is distraught.

Korda pats the dragon's snout tenderly before slowly approaching K'tanya. "Forgive my sudden departure." He gives a sideways glance at Shan. "I am normally not so discourteous. André Korda, at your service." He bows his head politely as is his custom.

It was so rare for her to talk to a man who was so obviously a gentleman, that she curtsied elegantly without even realizing that she as doing so. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Korda. I'm K'tanya Demonstar, and I do hope that you are all right."

"Perfectly fine, merci. I am honored by your inquiry." Once more his head bowed slightly. He could see why Shan was so interested; she was stunning! It took all of his discipline not to do more than politely take her hand and kiss it.

"Enchanté Mademoiselle, " he said sincerely. "I can see why my comrade has lost his nerve. It is difficult to imagine anything more lovely than what is before my eyes. Such beauty blinds all reason making it difficult to utter words with any resemblance of clarity." He patted her hand and then gently let it go out of pure gentlemanly behavior.

He was pulling out all the stops, sensing she would approve. It was not for himself, although he was regretting his just made promise. Alas, he was already obligated to assist his friend. "May I inquire, if I am not too bold to take of your time?" He paused, noting her expression and felt it acceptable to continue. "Would there be a chance that you might have an opening in your social calendar to allow for an afternoon stroll and then perhaps tea? I ask as an intermediary for Shan T. Dragon. I vouch for his character as one of nobility and trustworthiness, as are his intentions purely honorable. I would of course make myself available if you should choose to have an escort."

Shan had come up behind Korda and was posed in the most flattering position he could muster. He and Korda waited with bated breath for her answer.

Ooc: I loved her response it was perfect and puffed up Korda. *g*
And holy smokes batman, I had no idea this was going to happen when Shan first spoke to her. *lol*

She was utterly charmed by the both of them, so how could she possibly say no to such an innocent and completely flattering request? Smiling, K'tanya curtsied slightly again. "I think that I could find a way to clear my schedule for the both of you."

He smile was sincere and not too overt. In the background Shan was having a hard time keeping his joy subdued but despite this, he somehow held the pose.

"That is most kind ." He slipped an introduction card into her hand. It had his name on in and a contact number. It would not have been at all proper for him to ask for hers. "We look forward to seeing you again. Please let us know when you shall be available." Naturally, it went without saying that once they had set a date he would attend to all the details. "Until then," he bowed again and so did Shan. His head went all the way to the ground and he almost toppled forward in doing so. But somehow he regained balance.

Smiling, she took the card, curling her fingers around it for safekeeping until she could add it to her phone. Shan was just too adorable, and Korda had such an interesting manner about him. K'tanya was certain she would be calling them soon.
