TM - 266 - Start Something

K'tanya had known that Aidan was back for quite some time, although she had done nothing about it. She could have said that it was because she was married now and that it would be bad form to mess around with one of her ex's, but in reality that had very little to do with it. In truth, she was a bit worried that Aidan might remember that little incident a while back and she really would rather avoid any sticky complications where that was concerned. After all, the new hubby had no clue about that particular bit of history, or much else to do with Aidan for that matter. She preferred to keep it that way.

However, when she had noticed a little tidbit in Aidan's journal that he had locked from that boyfriend stealing bastard his other half, she felt that the opportunity to start something between them really was too good to pass up. With that in mind, she pulled out her computer and got to work.

I heard that you and Aidan were back in the land of the breathing, and I thought that it would be best if you and I buried the hatchet, so to speak. I mean, I'm happily married now and I would never, ever dream of coming between you two. However, in the best interest of your relationship I thought it essential that there were no secrets between you and him so that you could both start with a clean slate. So when I saw this I thought it vital that you know what he and your friends are all talking about at the moment

Smiling to herself, K'tanya sent the e-mail and then shut everything down before going to get her purse. Meddling in people's lives always did put her in the mood for a bit of shoe shopping.
