toodamnmanymusesYou know, I’m sure you guys are all getting pretty tired of the once upon a time stories, right? So I thought I’d try something a bit different this time, just to shake things up a bit. Ready? Good.
*clears throat*
A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…
Hey, it’s a good beginning! I should know, being as how I’m the one that came up with it in the first place. What, you think Lucas came up with that story by himself? Please, that man couldn’t tell a story if someone held a gun to his head. I mean you saw what happened when he tried to go back and do the prequels, right? I told him to wait until I could help him but did he listen to me? Noooooo.
He said he could handle it, and that it wouldn’t be a problem, and that it was practically writing itself. Well of course it was practically writing itself because I told him the whole story way back in the beginning. Only I didn’t give him all my journals for the first part of it because they were in storage, so I told him to just start in the middle and I’d get them to him eventually.
Apparently though the guy has NO patience, because a few years later he’s off writing a script, and he thought he could do it by just remembering what I’d told him and filling in the gaps but he was WRONG. Well after that first prequel, I decided he could just hang himself, and refused to help him anymore.
What? Oh, right. I’m supposed to tell you about a mess I cleaned up. Let me think…
Oh! This morning, Kismet knocked over a glass that had been sitting on the edge of the counter and it shattered into like, a million pieces. Which, I then totally picked up for him since he was late for class. Mess cleaned and disaster averted.
Go me!
