toodamnmanymuses | TM - 197 - Is there anyone in your life who you feel is exceptionally wise?

You mean beside myself, right? I mean, because that would be like cheating or something to name myself, even though it’s true, because people would start to think I had some kind of ego problem when in fact I’m one of the most humble people you would ever want to meet. I need to share the wealth and all so that other people can know they have special qualities too, and then they’ll just love me all the more. That’s wisdom right there.

Anyway, I’d have to say there are probably two people I can think of right off the top of my head who have almost as much wisdom as I do.

One is The Doctor, who took me in when I was alone, and taught me everything that he knows. He had enough wisdom and foresight to see what a totally awesome person I was going to be, and to make sure he helped me accordingly. Then to top it off, he totally let me drive the TARDIS, because he is the absolute best! Not that it had a lot to do with wisdom or anything, but I thought I’d mention it so everyone would know how totally cool he is as a father.

Then there was my sweetie, honey, butterbear, ~~Methos~~ Calogero. He had the wisdom to know a great catch when he saw one, namely me. Also? He totally knew when to pull up stakes and get the hell out of Rome when things got too hot to handle. It’s just too bad he didn’t know about that damn volcano. That wasn’t a lack of wisdom though; it was a bad luck thing. Poor guy just couldn’t seem to shake that sort of thing.

So there you have it, just a couple of wise guys that I know.
