TM - 211 - Old Acquaintance (Locked To Everyone)

K’tanya always returned to him. His name was usually different, and the persona that he showed to the world might have changed, but underneath he was still the man that she had once married. He was still the man that she would always love above all others. Regardless of whom they dallied with as the seasons and centuries passed, in the end they always found each other.

Sometimes when she returned he would be with someone else. There were times when she would leave him alone to live his life, just watching from afar, at least for a little while. Eventually though, her own selfishness would always win out, and then she would go to him. Sometimes it was only for a few days, if he was happy with his current situation. Other times, she would steal him away completely. Either way, he would always be hers, and they both knew it.

For now, she just watched him as he moved forward in the new life he was creating. She needed him to bring her comfort, but couldn’t yet approach him because he hadn’t cared for her most recent infatuation much. So she waited, hoping that time would move on yet again, and allow her the chance to be with her Meffie once more.
