K’tanya sat on the floor of the bookstore, staring forlornly at all the bridal books and magazines that were piled around her. A million different dresses to draw inspiration from and not a single clue as to where to start when it came to designing her absolute PERFECT wedding dress. A dress fit not only for the Princess that she was about to become, but one that would far surpass all wedding dresses that had ever been created. After all, absolutely nothing but the very best and most original creation would do for her upcoming wedding to the Prince Of Her Dreams.
"Pink."
Blinking, she turned around to see who had spoken, having been so immersed in her search that she had not seen the pretty little blond girl approach. "I’m sorry, what?"
The little girl proceeded to sit down on the floor and pull one of the books into her lap. "It should be PINK and it should have all kinds of lace and ruffles and diamonds that sparkle when you walk so that it practically blinds people and stuff. That would be the coolest thing EVER."
"Pink?" K’tanya frowned prettily as she mulled this over in her mind. "I thought being a future Princess and all, that white would be the color…"
"OH MY GOSH! You’re going to be a real live PRINCESS!!" The little girl’s eyes shone with excitement as she hopped to her feet, letting the book she had been looking through as she talked fall to the floor. "Don’t go anywhere! I have to get someone and I’ll be right back. Franklin will never believe this!"
K’tanya picked up the book as the child rushed off, looking at it thoughtfully for a moment as she considered the possibilities. "Pink huh…"
"Pink."
