It was a dark and stormy night, and all through the house there was nothing stirring because the mouse was totally caught in one of those catch and release traps down in the basement. It was also that whole holiday thing, and so there were silk stalkings lying on the rug next to the fire waiting for Santa baby to come along and take care of things like Santa baby always did.

While cookies and milk might be good enough in some people’s minds, those goodies simply didn’t do much to keep a girl on Santa’s nice list year after year, regardless of how naughty she might have been. Not to mention the fact that it took a bit more to get the really good gifts under the tree. The platinum mine, the yacht, that light blue convertible, and the ring didn’t just appear because of some really good chocolate chip cookies after all.

However when a girl added a bit of champagne and some strawberries to the mix, along with those stalkings? Well, then Christmas morning started looking very lovely indeed.

The only real question left was who was going to be playing Santa baby this year.
