toodamnmanymusesOh! I love that song! I mean, it’s a little bit depressing sure but it’s Matchbox Twenty, and how could I not love their stuff, right? I mean, they are like my all time favorite band, or one of them anyway. It’s kind of like a tie between them and Heart, but they are so winning right now because Heart is old and stuff.
Come to think of it, maybe it’s more like Matchbox Twenty and the Pussycat Dolls, which I was almost a member of before I decided I was much better suited to a solo career. I mean really, how could those other girls possibly look or sound good with me on stage as a part of their group? It would totally end up being K’tanya Demonstar and the Pussycat Dolls and that would have just pissed those poor girls off and they would have left and I’d of had to get all new backup singers.
So anyway, Rob Thomas is also totally cute on top of having a voice that just makes me go weak in the knees. Which is probably why I put them at the top of my favorite band list. How could you not love a band with a singer who can do that, right? I mean they’re few and far between really.
I used to have Creed right up there too cause Scott Stapp was ultra hot and that voice was just unbelievable. Then one day he had to go and get too big for his britches and break up the band. Then his solo career has like, totally tanked since then. Notice how Rob manages to do both, Scott? Yeah, that’s why he’s still making money and has a following. You should take a clue pill or something.
So yeah, 3am is absolutely an awesome song and you should all go out and give it a listen!
