K’tanya lay curled in front of the television, her eyes glued to the screen as she waited breathlessly for an outcome that had been weeks in the making. Her anxiety level rose with each passing minute as the characters that she had come to know over the course of time, lived out their lives on the screen. There had been rumors that someone was going to die, that someone else was going to make a choice that would determine the course of the rest of his life, and that someone they had thought to be good would turn out to actually be one of the enemy. Tonight was the time, they had promised, when questions would be answered.
K’tanya, who had been waiting for those promised answers for so long now, thought she just might burst with the excitement of it all. And now, with just a few more minutes left before the end of the show, she watched as it all started to come to a head. She gasped as characters that she had grown to love over time, slowly started to fall apart at the seams. She almost couldn’t bear it as it was like it was all happening to her own friends and family. Then her eyes widened as the music swelled, the scene started to come to it’s climax, and then…
“WHAT! What do you mean I have to wait for five WEEKS to see what happens! It’s the middle of the damn season! What the hell ever happened to twenty episodes in twenty-four weeks! Time for answers my ass, you bastards!”
CRASH!
She really did lose more televisions that way.
