Her laugh broke the silence.
“I swear I can do it!”
“No you can’t, Shawn.”
“Nobody asked you to sing 'Somebody’s Watching Me' at the party last night either, Gus, but that didn’t stop you.”
“Okay first of all that made no sense whatsoever, and secondly, that was you!”
“Whatever. Look, it’s not even that deep. How hard can it be?”
K’tanya finally managed to stifle her laughter. Mostly. “So prove it, and then you can have that kiss.”
“Done.”
A few moments later Shawn leaped off the edge, dragging Gus with him. Both of them were screaming like girls.
