RP - Wedding Reception (Backdated to Sept. 26th!)

It had been the most beautiful ceremony that the country of Andalasia, or indeed any country, had every had the opportunity to experience. Everyone, from the lowest to the highest had been blessed to witness the union of two souls that lived and loved only for each other. In fact, in all of history there had never been a more blessed union than this one, and everyone of any real importance had been sent an invitation and was there in attendance.

In fact, the biggest hall in all the land had been decorated for the occasion. Every table was adorned with beautiful and tasteful decorations in the colors of the bride’s choice, blush and bashful. The banquet was already set out upon heavy tables on either side of the room, allowing people to dine at their leisure as the festivities went on. There was a full service bar in each corner of the room, and servants dressed in the appropriate colors circulated through the room making sure that everyone’s drinks stayed refilled as needed. Near the entrance there was a table set up for any gifts that people might see fit to bestow upon the happy couple.

There were guards as well, stationed in discreet places throughout in order to make sure that no one got out of hand, although such a thing would NEVER happen at such an event. In fact, there were wards in place to make sure that such a thing could not happen.

Now with the ceremony completed, all that was left was for the guests to arrive and the merrymaking to commence. It would be the grandest affair that the world had ever seen.

Oh yeah, did I mention that all those in attendance are now cartoons for the extent of their visit to the realm of Andalasia? Have fun!

ooc: Backdated like whoa, but anyone and everyone is free to attend. Slowness due to holidays is expected, so feel free to jump in whenever and it'll be over when it's over! Play nice though, or K'tanya will FRY you and anyone close to you. ;)

The feel of his heart beating for her sent little tingly feelings all through her body, which made her sparkle more than a Twilight vampire standing in full sunlight on a summer day. "I never thought that I would ever be in this place, where wishes and dreams come true and there really is a happily ever after, but you've done all that for me and more."

"And I will continue doing so, my dearest," Edward vowed, "forever. Never shall there be anything you desire that I will not endeavor to provide... or support you in whatever you wish," he added, recalling that his beloved was not only precious, but accomplished, as well.

Her face turns the same lovely shades as that of the decorations that fill the room as she gets a somewhat flustered look about her. "I believe I am most looking forward to our honeymoon, and all that it entails."

Edward grins. "Yes, I understand that no one has ever attempted a tour of so many enchanted lands as we will: Never Never Land, Avalon, Halloweentown..." He stops, noticing the rose flush that has come to his beloved K'tanya's cheeks. It is surpassingly beautiful, of course, but surprising. The prince tilted his head slightly. "Is that not what you meant?"

"Oh! Of course that is what I meant! What else is there?"

She looks up at him, her eyes wide and as innocent as the day is long. There is a certain image to maintain as a fairy tale princess after all, and she do whatever it takes to maintain that image for Edward and all of Andalasia.

"I know not, my sweetest heart," Edward replied, smile growing again. "But if there might be, then I know it will be the most exciting adventure I have ever undertaken... because it will be with you."

A little cartoon heart appears over her head as she clasps her hands in front of her bodice and a crystalline tear of utter happiness slips down her cheek. Oddly enough, the tear is actually a light pink in color, so it to matches the color scheme.

Edward wrapped his arms around his new bride, heart swelling and beating ever stronger with a thunderously audible thump-thump for her. "Now, shall we return the party? The sooner the reception ends, the sooner we may begin our life together!"

K'tanya knew that she could never be happier than she was at this very moment, being held in the arms of her Prince Charming, at the reception to their glorious wedding. "I think that is the very best idea I have heard since the night you proposed to me, my love."
