RP - Wedding Reception (Backdated to Sept. 26th!)

It had been the most beautiful ceremony that the country of Andalasia, or indeed any country, had every had the opportunity to experience. Everyone, from the lowest to the highest had been blessed to witness the union of two souls that lived and loved only for each other. In fact, in all of history there had never been a more blessed union than this one, and everyone of any real importance had been sent an invitation and was there in attendance.

In fact, the biggest hall in all the land had been decorated for the occasion. Every table was adorned with beautiful and tasteful decorations in the colors of the bride’s choice, blush and bashful. The banquet was already set out upon heavy tables on either side of the room, allowing people to dine at their leisure as the festivities went on. There was a full service bar in each corner of the room, and servants dressed in the appropriate colors circulated through the room making sure that everyone’s drinks stayed refilled as needed. Near the entrance there was a table set up for any gifts that people might see fit to bestow upon the happy couple.

There were guards as well, stationed in discreet places throughout in order to make sure that no one got out of hand, although such a thing would NEVER happen at such an event. In fact, there were wards in place to make sure that such a thing could not happen.

Now with the ceremony completed, all that was left was for the guests to arrive and the merrymaking to commence. It would be the grandest affair that the world had ever seen.

Oh yeah, did I mention that all those in attendance are now cartoons for the extent of their visit to the realm of Andalasia? Have fun!

ooc: Backdated like whoa, but anyone and everyone is free to attend. Slowness due to holidays is expected, so feel free to jump in whenever and it'll be over when it's over! Play nice though, or K'tanya will FRY you and anyone close to you. ;)

K'tanya managed to tear herself away from her adoring fans for a few moments as she saw Emma moving through the room. Dazzling as always, and just slightly less beautiful than the bride was herself, K'tanya's Maid of Honor was a welcome sight. Fans were wonderful and all, but sometimes a girl just needed to talk to someone who was on almost the same level.

Smiling at both her and Scott, K'tanya was practically breathless with happiness as she came over to say hello. "There you are! I wasn't sure I would get the chance to tell you both how happy I am that you could be a part of everything today."

"K'tanya, dearest, you looked lovely, as always." Emma air-kissed the new princess and admired her wedding gown. "It's quite lovely. However will you be able to dance in it, though?" Emma saw that it was quite tight-fitting, which she approved, but that never lent itself to moving about the dance floor well.

"Oh it's not a problem. I'll spend most of the dancing part just doing that sway thing anyway. There's not a lot of foot action in that, plus I'll be leaning to Edward most of the time."

Plus there was the fact that she could dance circles around anyone, even in a skin tight dress. She was a Prima ballerina assoluta after all.

She smiled at K'tanya, nodding her head in agreement. "Yes, that is, as I understand it, the typical thing to do at wedding receptions in terms of dancing."

Although, Emma did recall that the bride was absolutely perfect in terms of her own dancing abilities. She wondered to herself why she had doubted her in the first place.

K'tanya blushes prettily and gets the soft, starry eyes look of a woman completely, head over heels in love. "Do you ever dance that way with Scott?"

Emma was taken aback slightly. "Yes, naturally. Actually, quite often in public, simply to antagonize the others watching because it amuses me," she added with a smirk.

Logan, especially, was one she loved to tease so. "Why do you ask?"

K'tanya looks at her, eyes curious. "I just wondered if you were as in love with your Scott as I am with my Edward, that's all. I mean, why else would you dance with someone in that way, or is it just because of the teasing?"

Which, she would totally understand and all since she has done similar things in the past.

Emma's eyes widened and she drew a breath. "Love." She'd only recently learned to say it out loud to Scott, but she wasn't quite ready to say it to anyone else. "I care for Scott quite a bit, and he does love me."

That was enough of the truth to suffice, she hoped.

K'tanya couldn't help feeling a bit sad for Emma, but since this was a happy occasion she tries hard not to show that sentiment. "Well that's good then. You shouldn't dance like that with people that you don't care about. It's wrong, kind like 80's fashion."

"Oh, don't get me started on fashion from that time, I think you and I would be here chatting the entire night away if we did that," Emma smiled at the beautiful bride.

"Where's the honeymoon?"

Her eyes brighten and the little cartoon heart are fluttering around her head again as she thinks about all the amazing places her Prince has promised to take her for their special time together. "Oh we're going all over the place! Never Never Land, Halloweentown, and even Avalon itself. I'm looking forward to that one the most of all."

"Avalon?" She frowned slightly at that one. "Do you mean to tell me the famed location from the tales of Camelot? You're actually going there?"

K'tanya nods, practically bouncing with the excitement of the whole thing. "Don't you think that's absolutely marvelous? I've been almost everywhere, but never to Avalon. I simply can't wait!"

Emma was impressed and nodded. "Frankly, I'm surprised that you've never been there, considering the amount of travel you do. You've seen practically everything," she pointed out.

"Oh there's still a couple corners of the more magical realms that I haven't had the chance to get to just yet, not to mention all the parallel universes and whatnot. There's really so much out there!"

She nodded. That much was true; Emma herself had only seen a few alternate dimensions. "Do be careful, though." She wasn't a particular fan of magic.

She air-kissed K'tanya again and held her hands. "Again, you look lovely. I should go back to my own Prince Charming... although..." One last question couldn't hurt, she supposed.

"Do you think Scott and Edward look alike? Be honest."

K'tanya blinked at the question, never having considered it before really. However, wanting to make sure that she was indeed completely honest with her friend, she took a moment to find the two men in the room and study them.

"Not in the slightest."

Edward had prettier eyes, obviously.

Emma sighed thankfully. She hadn't thought so herself, but to hear it from K'tanya made her feel immeasurably better. "I knew you would say the perfect thing," she added before she gave her one last hug and joined Scott again.
