K&#39;tanya Demonstar

Emma had thought the ceremony had gone on a tad too long, but as Maid of Honor (and who would actually believe she was a "maid", let alone one of "honor"?), she had a duty to perform.

Once it was over, she congratulated the happy couple and then met up with Scott, air-kissing him. As she held his hand and walked towards the reception, she was stopped by a peasant she had not seen at the ceremony. "Yes? Can I help you?"

The child saw Scott and turned to her, then flung himself to the ground and asked what Emma's official title was. Once she told him it was The White Queen, the poor dear practically fainted with happiness. Emma sincerely hoped it would not be like this the entire reception...

K'tanya managed to tear herself away from her adoring fans for a few moments as she saw Emma moving through the room. Dazzling as always, and just slightly less beautiful than the bride was herself, K'tanya's Maid of Honor was a welcome sight. Fans were wonderful and all, but sometimes a girl just needed to talk to someone who was on almost the same level.

Smiling at both her and Scott, K'tanya was practically breathless with happiness as she came over to say hello. "There you are! I wasn't sure I would get the chance to tell you both how happy I am that you could be a part of everything today."

"K'tanya, dearest, you looked lovely, as always." Emma air-kissed the new princess and admired her wedding gown. "It's quite lovely. However will you be able to dance in it, though?" Emma saw that it was quite tight-fitting, which she approved, but that never lent itself to moving about the dance floor well.

"Oh it's not a problem. I'll spend most of the dancing part just doing that sway thing anyway. There's not a lot of foot action in that, plus I'll be leaning to Edward most of the time."

Plus there was the fact that she could dance circles around anyone, even in a skin tight dress. She was a Prima ballerina assoluta after all.

She smiled at K'tanya, nodding her head in agreement. "Yes, that is, as I understand it, the typical thing to do at wedding receptions in terms of dancing."

Although, Emma did recall that the bride was absolutely perfect in terms of her own dancing abilities. She wondered to herself why she had doubted her in the first place.

K'tanya blushes prettily and gets the soft, starry eyes look of a woman completely, head over heels in love. "Do you ever dance that way with Scott?"

From:

Emma was taken aback slightly. "Yes, naturally. Actually, quite often in public, simply to antagonize the others watching because it amuses me," she added with a smirk.

Logan, especially, was one she loved to tease so. "Why do you ask?"

K'tanya looks at her, eyes curious. "I just wondered if you were as in love with your Scott as I am with my Edward, that's all. I mean, why else would you dance with someone in that way, or is it just because of the teasing?"

Which, she would totally understand and all since she has done similar things in the past.

Emma's eyes widened and she drew a breath. "Love." She'd only recently learned to say it out loud to Scott, but she wasn't quite ready to say it to anyone else. "I care for Scott quite a bit, and he does love me."

That was enough of the truth to suffice, she hoped.

K'tanya couldn't help feeling a bit sad for Emma, but since this was a happy occasion she tries hard not to show that sentiment. "Well that's good then. You shouldn't dance like that with people that you don't care about. It's wrong, kind like 80's fashion."

"Oh, don't get me started on fashion from that time, I think you and I would be here chatting the entire night away if we did that," Emma smiled at the beautiful bride.

"Where's the honeymoon?"

Her eyes brighten and the little cartoon heart are fluttering around her head again as she thinks about all the amazing places her Prince has promised to take her for their special time together. "Oh we're going all over the place! Never Never Land, Halloweentown, and even Avalon itself. I'm looking forward to that one the most of all."

"Avalon?" She frowned slightly at that one. "Do you mean to tell me the famed location from the tales of Camelot? You're actually going there?"

Scott frowned, giving the little boy a pat on the head when he absolutely refused to rise from the floor, no matter how Scott had asked him. It had been the strangest experience, what with how closely Edward seemed to resemble him-- in a way, that is, since Scott had always thought he had looked a little silly with hair that long.

He gave Emma a squeeze and blinked behind the glasses he'd donned to help people tell the difference. "I really didn't think that ceremony was ever going to end," he smirked.

"It was rather long, but it's over now, at least," she smiled before she kissed her own charming date, then glanced at the boy on the ground before the two of them and sighed.

"I believe you want your new princess, who is over there," she said helpfully, pointing to K'tanya before slipping an arm through Scott's. "And, by the by, you are far more handsome than that Edward fellow."

"Thanks," Scott replied, taking Emma's arm. "And although I'd like to say I'd never wear anything as loud as that getup he's got on, you've seen my old uniforms." He laughed and tugged her a little closer. "Speaking of clothes, did I mention how great you look today?"

She shuddered, then laughed. "Yes, it's quite a good thing you discovered me so that I could assist you with that, darling." Scott had gotten better, but a little nudge from Emma couldn't hurt every now and again.

"And no, you did not. You may do so now."

Scott grinned. "You looked totally amazing up there, Emma. In fact, I--" He stopped, then scratched his head. "You know, I was going to say something suggestive, and then I couldn't. Now I don't even remember what I would be suggesting." He shrugged and gave Emma another kiss. "Anyway, you look beautiful."

She kissed him back and held his hand. Remarkable that he had not said something suggestive... more remarkable that she could not think of anything herself.

"Thank you, dearest. Now, may I have this dance?"

Scott blinked. "Um... dance? Well, sure, as long as you don't mind swaying. Believe me, many have tried to teach me and they've all pronounced me a loss."

From:

"That's fine, darling. This dress is incredibly tight, anyway. Besides, it wouldn't do to upstage the bride and her new husband now, would it?" She held her arms open so Scott could take her into his.

He grinned. "That's a darn good point," Scott replied, and wrapped his arms around Emma so they could sway to the music. A thought came to his head and wouldn't go away. Scott figured he knew where it would lead, but the words came out anyway. Somehow, he at least knew Emma couldn't get too mad, not here in Andalasia. Everyone seemed so happy.

"You looked really good up there... you know, at the altar?"

Emma froze in place and looked at Scott.

"Are you suggesting what I think you're suggesting?"

Scott frowned. "No, I, uh... Of course not. Just random thoughts."
